Bayer Leverkusen have indicated that they can keep hold of striking sensation Leon Bailey for as long as possible<\/p>\n

The 20-year-old forward has attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United\u00a0and Arsenal this January, but the Bundesliga club are hopeful that the Jamaica-born player, who has a contract until 2022, will elected to commit his future to them.<\/p>\n

Bailey has scored nine times in 18 outings this season and made headlines at the weekend as he scored spectacularly against Hoffenheim.<\/p>\n

He has been in Leverkusen for a year now, having arrived from Genk, and Voller, himself a World Cup-winning forward, is delighted with how the young attacker has progressed.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re happy with his development,\u201d he said. \u201cWe had to sign him in the winter last year because of the threat of losing him to a competitor.<\/p>\n

“We had a difficult situation back then, but we were convinced by him and were not afraid of the risk.\u201d<\/p>\n
