JOEY CARBERY HAS been included in Joe Schmidt\u2019s 40-man squad bound for a warm weather training camp in Portugal despite picking up an ankle injury last weekend against Italy.<\/p>\n
The IRFU confirmed that Munster fly-half will be available for selection in \u201cfour to six weeks\u201d as his rehab continues.<\/p>\n
The versatile John Cooney is among a trio of players cut from Joe Schmidt\u2019s panel. The Ulster man departs back to his provincial set-up alongside Connacht\u2019s Finlay Bealham and Munster\u2019s Mike Haley.<\/p>\n
Further injury concerns surrounding Devin Toner have been allayed, with Irish Rugby confirming that his ankle knock \u201chas not presented any further issues\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Rob Herring also has \u201cfully recovered\u201d from a back spasm which forced him off against the Azzurri.<\/p>\n
Jean Kleyn is included amongst the forwards after winning his first cap for Ireland last weekend, while in the backs there\u2019s room for Dave Kearney who impressed at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Ireland\u2019s next warm-up match is against England at Twickenham on 24 August.<\/p>\n
