According to CBS Sport’s\u00a0Ben Jacobs, Qatar Sports Investments (who have held 100% ownership Paris Saint-Germain since 2011) are reportedly intensifying their efforts to find a multi-club investment project in the Premier League.<\/p>\n
Jacobs says that president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has been talking to clubs from the Premier League – notably meeting with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy earlier this week to hold an “exploratory meeting” over taking a minority share in Tottenham Hotspur.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It is reported that these initial talks are in the early stages – and took place in London several days ago, with QSI assessing a variety of options to expand their multi-club ambitions into 2023.\u00a0Jacobs says however that there have been no talks with Liverpool FC.<\/p>\n
QSI already own 23% of Portuguese side FC Braga, wanting to expand their football club ownership ambitions beyond Paris Saint-Germain. Meanwhile, Nasser Al-Khelaifi confirmed in November that he was considering selling a minority share of Paris Saint-Germain to new investors. An unnamed American investment fund was interested in acquiring up to a 15% stake in the Ligue 1 leaders. QSI, however, are not interested in a full sale of the French club.<\/p>\n
