Michy Batshuayi has earned a recall to the Chelsea starting XI as the Blues host Newcastle United in Sunday’s FA Cup tie.<\/p>\n

The forward has struggled for first-team football this season, and could leave Stamford Bridge on loan before the end of the January transfer window if Chelsea land Edin Dzeko.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But he will play the weekend’s fourth-round tie in an all-Premier League encounter against the Magpies.<\/p>\n

Willy Caballero continues in goal for the competition due to Thibaut Courtois’ ankle complaint, while there is also room for Davide Zappacosta in the line-up.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alvaro Morata, meanwhile, has been granted leave to miss Sunday’s match after losing a close friend in a car crash, and does not form part of the squad.<\/p>\n

The Spain international is also recovering from a back problem which saw him miss Chelsea’s Carabao Cup elimination at the hands of Arsenal.<\/p>\n

Willian is another absentee, with the Brazilian struck down with a hamstring injury in that semi-final defeat, while David Luiz misses out completely due to an ankle knock.<\/p>\n

Newcastle, on the flip side, have named a strong side for the clash with captain Jamaal Lascelles, Jonjo Shelvey and Dwight Gayle all named in the starting lineup.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
