Essendon Bombers guernsey<\/a><\/p>\nFrench bakery L’Annexe de Mamie Colette is teaming up with Newtown-based A Love for Life to celebrate the Fete de la Bretagne while raising money to support pancreatic cancer research at Penn Medicine.<\/p>\n
From now through Sunday, May 19, 20 percent of sales at L’Annexe, including its sweet or savory cr\u00eapes, authentic baked-in-house french bread, and beverages will benefit A Love For Life and pancreatic cancer research. <\/p>\n\nThere also will be a limited number of Un Amour Pour La Vie (French version of A Love for Life) custom etched pint glasses, etched glass picnic bottles and postcards for sale. <\/p>\n
“Last year we celebrated Bastille Day at the Newtown location of Mamie Colette,” said Christine Edmonds, the founder of A Love for Life. “This year we decided it would be fun to bring our friends and neighbors to an exciting new spot in Titusville – which is only a 17 minute drive from Newtown – Merci Isabelle et Chef Magali!\u201d<\/p>\n\nIsabelle Noblanc and Chef Magali, who own Mamie Colette in Newtown Borough, opened L\u2019Annexe de Mamie in mid-March, expanding their French bakery to both sides of the Delaware River.<\/p>\n
\u201cMany of us have been affected by cancer – this week\u2019s partnership will be a perfect opportunity to visit our new space, try a Breton cr\u00eape and fund research all at the same time,” said Isabelle.<\/p>\n
The fundraiser will run through Sunday, May 19, similar to the dates of the official French
Feast of Brittany that is celebrated each year in Isabelle\u2019s native Brittany – the birthplace of the cr\u00eape. <\/p>\n
The store is located at 1462 River Road, Titusville, NJ 08560. Parking is available behind the building. Store hours are Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n
