CHADDS FORD TOWNSHIP, PA \u2014 The upcoming HBO series “Task” will again be shutting down roads in Delaware County for production, PennDOT confirmed to Patch.<\/p>\n

According to PennDOT, the Mark Ruffalo-led production will be filming in Chadds Ford Township<\/p>\n

Due to the production, Beaver Dam and Smithbridge roads in Chadds Ford will be closed Monday, July 8 to Thursday, July 11.<\/p>\n

The closures will be in place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. those days.<\/p>\n

During the Beaver Dam Road closure, drivers will be directed to use Brandywine Creek Road, Route 92\/Ramsey Road, and Beaver Valley Road. The road will be closed between Brandywine Creek and Beaver Valley roads. <\/p>\n

Smithbridge Road driver will be detoured to Ridge Road and U.S. 202. The road will be closed and detoured between Ridge Road and Heyburn Road.<\/p>\n

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.<\/p>\n

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.<\/p>\n

Ruffalo was recently spotted at the Delaware County Government Center and Courthouse to shoot scenes for the new HBO show, which is a sort of follow-up to the hit series “Mare of Easttown.”<\/p>\n

“Task” stars Mark Ruffalo, whose role is a “damaged” FBI agent, the actor told Deadline.<\/p>\n

“Task” has filmed all over the region over the past several months, including in Ridley Township, Edgmont Township, Aston Township, Upper Chichester Township, Phoenixville Township, and Schuylkill Township.<\/p>\n

Ruffalo is previously starred in another Delaware County-set production in 2014’s “Foxcatcher.” Ruffalo played wrestler Dave Schultz, who was killed by John Eleuth\u00e8re du Pont at du Pont’s farm in Newtown Square in 1996.<\/p>\n
