Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera believes that Premier League champions Manchester City will not be able to replicate the devastating form the showed this term for another year.<\/p>\n

City ran away with the title, claiming the crown with five matches to spare and running out 19 points clear of the Red Devils, who finished second.<\/p>\n

He believes it is entirely possible that United can bridge the gap next term \u2013 and not just because he is confident that they will improve.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, he admits that he is envious to see City and Liverpool –\u00a0who will contest the Champions League final against Real Madrid next weekend –\u00a0enjoy such success.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf any player in the world tells you he doesn\u2019t care about what the opponents do he is lying to you,\u201d the Spaniard said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI cannot lie to you – if I could choose at the beginning of the season who wins the Premier League and who wins the Champions League, if we couldn\u2019t be champions, I wouldn\u2019t tell you Manchester City and Liverpool.<\/p>\n

“I respect them – I have never hated anyone – but I cannot lie.\u201d<\/p>\n
