The 2018-19 FA Cup is heating up as it prepares to move onto the quarter-final stage of the competition.<\/p>\n

Teams such as Manchester United and Manchester City are in the mix, while defending champions Chelsea also remain in contention.<\/p>\n

Goal takes a look at which teams are the favourites, dark horses\u00a0and outsiders\u00a0to lift the football’s oldest trophy.<\/p>\n

Favourites to win the FA Cup 2018-19 <\/h2>\n

Predictably Manchester City are favourites to lift the FA Cup in May, with bet365 going as short as 1\/1 for the Premier League champions to go all the way this year.<\/p>\n

After their 100 point haul last year City have already reached the final of the Carabao Cup and they will certainly be targeting the FA Cup to complete a\u00a0treble this season.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, second and third favourites Chelsea and Manchester United face each other meaning the field will be even thinner heading into the quarter-finals.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are priced at 13\/2 to win the trophy and United are 8\/1, but these odds are likely to shorten massively for whichever team triumphs in their meeting in the next round.<\/p>\n

Outsiders to win the FA Cup 2018-19 <\/h2>\n

Wolves may have made hard work of previous rounds but they are still fancied as dark horses to win this competition at 13\/2.<\/p>\n

The Midlands club have a knack of beating big teams this season, already knocking Liverpool out of this competition and if they can continue that trend they could be headed for Wembley.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Following Wolves you have Crystal Palace (rated 9\/1)who overcame Doncaster in the last 16. If Palace can pull away from the relegation scrap and put all of their focus into the FA Cup they could go one better than their appearance in the final in 2016 and win the whole thing.<\/p>\n

Watford and Brighton round off the remaining Premier League teams left in the competition and they are priced at 12\/1 and 16\/1 respectively.<\/p>\n

With the rest of the teams remaining in the FA Cup being from outside of the Premier League there are a few underdogs to keep an eye on.<\/p>\n

Millwall – finalists in 2004 – are considered a long shot to win the tournament at 66\/1.<\/p>\n
