Chris Sutton believes Maurizio Sarri\u2019s time at Chelsea is \u201cdone\u201d following the club\u2019s elimination from the FA Cup.<\/p>\n

The Blues\u2019 2-0 defeat to Manchester United on Monday night was\u00a0the club\u2019s third loss in their last five games.<\/p>\n

Not only have Sarri\u2019s side suffered these poor results but they have also fallen to sixth in the Premier League following embarrassing thrashings to both Manchester City and Bournemouth.<\/p>\n

And things don\u2019t look like they will be getting any easier with the London club\u2019s next fixture coming against City again in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Sarri\u2019s job now remains in further jeopardy following such bad\u00a0results, with the club already obtaining a history of quick dismissals.<\/p>\n

The Blues have had 11 managers over the last decade, with Antonio Conte lasting just two seasons before he was shown the door.<\/p>\n

Despite a decent start to the campaign,\u00a0poor\u00a0results have intensified the speculation regarding Sarri’s long-term future at the club and Sutton\u00a0believes the Italian will be next on the list of sacked managers.<\/p>\n

“This is Maurizio Sarri’s last game at Chelsea. The Italian job is over for them,” Sutton told BBC 5 Live<\/em>.\u00a0“He’s done. Sarri-ball is broken.<\/p>\n

“The Chelsea owner will be thinking, ‘Will we get top four? Can I go to the Manchester City game with confidence?’ Absolutely not.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIs he going to chuck all his eggs in the Europa League basket with a manager who can’t motivate his players? No.<\/p>\n

“History tells us the Chelsea owner doesn’t mess about.”<\/p>\n

Sarri was only appointed as the club\u2019s manager back in July 2018, and is contracted to remain in charge until 2021.<\/p>\n

He is still yet to win a trophy as a\u00a0manager, with this weekend\u2019s Carabao Cup potentially his first ever silverware.<\/p>\n
