Former business manager of Stan Lee, the Marvel comic’s real-life superhero and the man who created Spider-Man and Iron-man, Keya Morgan has been arrested on the charges of elder abuse.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

As per the authorities, Stan Lee, who died at the age of 95 in Nov. 2018, “had been the victim in an elder abuse estate investigation that began in March 2018.”<\/h3>\n

“Morgan exerted his control and influence over Lee,” police said in the news release.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Keya Morgan has also been accused of falsely imprisoning Stan Lee after he took him from his Hollywood Hills home to what police described as a “secured Beverly Hills condominium” in May 2018.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The police said that Stan Lee was “removed from Morgan’s control” and was arrested later for making fake 911 calls in June 2018. He reportedly made those fake calls to make Stan Lee believe that he was in danger.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

It is said that Keya Morgan became close to Stan Lee after the latter’s wife died in 2017. Keya Morgan, a memorabilia collector from New York, allegedly “inserted himself into Lee’s life”. However, before his death, Lee was granted a temporary restraining order against Morgan that banned him from contacting, abusing and harassing him and to stay at least 100 yards away from him.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

At that time, however, Morgan had denied the charges.<\/p>\n

“I have taken great care of Stan Lee for the past many years, and have never had a problem directly with Stan. I have a fantastic relationship with him for the past many years as he has stated countless times on the record and I literally saved his life once. I will 100% prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the allegations against me are false,” he was quoted as saying by TMZ.<\/p>\n
