John is a World War II veteran who just turned 100, and Phyllis will turn 103 on August 8.<\/span><\/p>\n

We can’t stop gushing over this adorable couple who had been dating for a year before they decided to tie the knot. <\/span><\/p>\n

“To tell you the truth, we fell in love with each other. I know you think that may be a little bit farfetched for somebody our age, but we fell in love with each other,” Phyllis Cook told WNWO.<\/span><\/p>\n

T<\/span>he couple went to the courthouse to get their marriage license last week and found out they could get married on the spot. “It wasn’t the plan, but we got here and they said, ‘we could marry you here.’ I said ‘good, let’s get it over with,'” <\/span>John Cook told CNN <\/em>affiliate WNWO<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both Cooks had lost two spouses in the past and feel lucky to have found love a third time.<\/span> Do you want to know the secret to their romance? They keep each other space and we mean that quite literally. “What we do, we keep both of our apartments. He’s upstairs, and I’m down,” Phyllis Cook said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another couple giving us major #CoupleGoals is 80-year-old couple Kay and Joe O’Regan. Married for 57 years, they ran their last marathon in Ireland. They crossed the finish line holding hands and were winners in their age-group. The couple ran their first marathon in 1986 in London. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

“Running is part of our lives,” Kay said. “And it hopefully will be for a few more years. In Ireland there is a saying: Those who pray together, stay together. Well we say, those who run together, stay together.”<\/span><\/p>\n
