{"id":8326,"date":"2020-04-03T01:51:10","date_gmt":"2020-04-03T01:51:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.incirliseviye.com\/?p=8326"},"modified":"2020-04-03T01:51:10","modified_gmt":"2020-04-03T01:51:10","slug":"nfhs-learning-center-unveils-school-honor-roll-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/onhee.com\/?p=8326","title":{"rendered":"NFHS Learning Center Unveils School  Honor Roll Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) has created the NFHS School Honor Roll, a national recognition program designed to promote professional development for high school coaches through the completion of specific courses through the NFHS Learning Center at .<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEducation-based programs provide ongoing learning for participating students, and the NFHS School Honor Roll program provides a pathway for coaches within schools to be honored for their involvement in professional development,\u201d said Dan Schuster, NFHS Director of Educational Services.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After filling out an online application, schools can achieve three levels of merit within the NFHS School Honor Roll, which are obtained once 90 percent of a school\u2019s coaches \u2013 excluding volunteer coaches \u2013 complete various course combinations. Participating institutions that earn Level 1, 2 or 3 distinctions receive a large display banner commemorating their accomplishments and their dedication to professional development and education-based athletics.<\/p>\n<p>Three free offerings from the Learning Center \u2013 \u201cConcussion in Sports,\u201d \u201cSudden Cardiac Arrest\u201d and \u201cProtecting Students from Abuse\u201d \u2013 as well as \u201cFundamentals of Coaching\u201d comprise the required courses for Level 1.
