King\u00a0named Athlete of the Week<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

INDIANAPOLIS
\n – Max King has been named USA Track & Field’s Athlete of the Week
\n after winning the USA Marathon Trail Championships on Saturday in
\n Ashland, Ore.<\/p>\n

Only six days after finishing 18th in the ING NYC
\n Marathon, King won his first national title in completing the Lithia
\n Loop Marathon in 2 hours 40 minutes 23 seconds. His time broke Jeff
\n Caba’s course record by two minutes. King’s finishing time in New York
\n City was 2:19:11.<\/p>\n

Now in its eighth year, USATF’s Athlete of the
\n Week program is designed to recognize outstanding performers at all
\n levels of the sport. USATF names a new honoree each week and features
\n the athlete on the USATF website. Selections are based on top
\n performances and results from the previous week.<\/font><\/p>\n
