\u2022On winning the Impact Title on the debut episode on AXS TV:\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s not just cool. It is something that should have happened years ago with other companies. I\u2019m a guy that should have been in the forefront of a company a long time ago but, you know, people like me don\u2019t always get to be the face of a company. Now I\u2019ve changed the professional wrestling for the better.\u201d He alborates, \u201cA 5\u20198 white guy from Ohio. You don\u2019t want that to be the face of your wrestling company. You want a guy like Brian Cage or you want Moose. But, the one thing I have that they don\u2019t have is I connect with the people and I\u2019m the most watched thing on all of Impact Wrestling.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022On if he expects his Hard to Kill match with Tessa to be the 2020 Match of the Year:\u00a0\u201cI think any match I step in the ring for in 2020 could be the match of the year. It doesn\u2019t matter if it is against a broom! I\u2019m one of the best professional wrestlers that there is today. Tessa Blanchard should be thankful because I\u2019m going to make her famous.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022On his backstage brawl with Tessa being watched by over 4.2 million people on Facebook:\u00a0\u201cThat\u2019s why I\u2019m the Draw! I\u2019m the most watched thing on Impact Wrestling. Some people might say, \u201cOh no! That\u2019s Tessa Blanchard!\u201d Well, it takes 2 to tango! It seems to me everything I set my hands on in Impact Wrestling turns to absolute gold.\u201d<\/p>\n

On if other female wrestlers would be able to compete with the men in Impact:\u00a0\u201cI don\u2019t like all this, \u201cOh, she\u2019s a female wrestler. Oh, he\u2019s a male wrestler.\u201d At this point, it is not intergender wrestling. It is just professional wrestling. I think Impact Wrestling has proved that better than anybody else. I think the Knockouts could get in the ring with the men and go blow to blow and absolutely kill it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022On what Knockouts would be a good challenger for his Impact World Title:\u00a0\u201cTaya (Valkyrie), Jessicka Havok, Jordynne Grace, and Rosemary. That\u2019s 4 right off the top of my head!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022On returning to the heat of the Brawl at the Brewery venue for Brawl at the Brewery 2:\u00a0\u201cIt has got to have been one of the hottest places that I\u2019ve ever had to wrestle. Thank God we\u2019re going back in the winter when it probably won\u2019t be as hot. But, it has got to be one of the top 5 hottest places I\u2019ve ever wrestled. It was extremely brutal. The air was so thick, you couldn\u2019t breathe! And, I\u2019m going toe to toe with a legend in RVD so you\u2019ve already got that working against you. It was a hard night for everyone!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022On Brawl at the Brewery 2 as oVe takes on Tessa and company:\u00a0\u201cYeah! Myself and oVe get to destroy Tessa Blanchard 2 days before I get to destroy her on pay-per-view!\u201d<\/p>\n

On Madman Fulton coming into his own in Impact with OVE:\u00a0\u201c100 percent! He didn\u2019t fail NXT, NXT failed him! He\u2019s a guy with unlimited potential. He\u2019s an absolute moster. I\u2019m glad we were able to get our hands on him and show him what he\u2019s capable of. Now, the world is his oyster and he could become one of the biggest wrestling stars on the entire planet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022On Austin Aries taking a shot at Sami for going long with Pentagon at Slammiversary 2018:\u00a0\u201cAustin Aries can kiss my ass. Austin Aries is always the victim. He never does anything wrong! Everybody\u2019s out to get him. Austin Aries can kiss my ass and be done with it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022On taking a jab at \u201cA Little Bit of the Bubbly\u201d and the state of wrestling in 2020:\u00a0\u201cEveryone wants to be against each other but in reality, this is the greatest time to be a wrestling fan because there are so many alternatives. And, everyone\u2019s winning! People can shit on WWE but they\u2019re still making a ton of money and they still have a lot of eyes on them just as Impact, just as AEW, just as any other wrestling company on the planet today. Everyone wants to be against each other. Everyone\u2019s a critic. Everyone has a podcast. And, everyone thinks they\u2019re a wrestling expert. At the end of the day, it just doesn\u2019t work like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022On the overly critical wrestling fans on social media and \u201ccancel culture\u201d:\u00a0\u201cYeah, at the end of the day, you can just change the channel and watch something else! It\u2019s not just wrestling. It is all television and movies\u2026 It is any form of religion, any form of politics. Everyone wants to bitch and complain and fight about it instead of just enjoying what they enjoy and hating what they hate.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022On main eventing his third Impact PPV in a row:\u00a0\u201cThree pay per views in a row that the Draw is the main event. There\u2019s a reason for that! Everything I touch on Impact Wrestling is the most watched thing on the show so why wouldn\u2019t I be the main event?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022On what his real problem is with Tessa Blanchard:\u00a0\u201cIt is not that I hate Tessa Blanchard because she\u2019s a woman. I hate Tessa Blanchard because she\u2019s an entitled brat who has been handed everything. She\u2019s everything that has been wrong with the wrestling business in the past ten years. This generation, millennials as they like to call them, they think everything should be handed to them. They never have to work, they never have to struggle. And, Tessa Blanchard is the poster-boy, their poster-child \u2013 Their poster-girl for whatever that is.\u201d<\/p>\n
