{"id":9489,"date":"2020-08-03T12:55:00","date_gmt":"2020-08-03T12:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.incirliseviye.com\/?p=9489"},"modified":"2020-08-03T12:55:00","modified_gmt":"2020-08-03T12:55:00","slug":"i-have-seen-things-senior-aide-to-donald-trump-goes-public-with-criticism-after-resignation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/onhee.com\/?p=9489","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;I have seen things&#8217;: Senior aide to Donald Trump goes public with criticism after resignation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of Donald Trump\u2019s most senior African American aides has gone public with criticism of the White House after resigning amid reports of a blazing row at a Christmas party.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Omarosa Manigault, who appeared on The Apprentice, said she saw things while working for the president that made her \u201cvery uncomfortable\u201d and \u201cunhappy\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She did not deny claims she was concerned by Mr Trump\u2019s stance on Charlottesville, where a woman died in clashes with white supremacists, and Roy Moore, the controversial Alabama senate candidate.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ms Manigault even hinted at producing a tell-all account of her time in the White House, declaring she had \u201ca profound story that I know the world will want to hear\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>African-American voters were credited with the Republicans&#8217; shock Alabama election defeat this week, in which Doug Jones, a lawyer who once prosecuted three high profile Ku Klux Klan members, became the first Democrat to win a Senate seat in the state in a generation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure>\n<noscript><\/noscript><figcaption>\nOmarosa Manigault, the White House aide and former Apprentice star\u00a0Credit:<br \/>\nGMA\/abc News<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He beat Mr\u00a0Moore, a Republican who was accused of making remarks condoning slavery in the final days of the campaign and who had been accused of sexual misconduct with underage girls.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Manigault\u2019s comments came after reports she was pushed out of the White House following a heated row with John Kelly, Mr Trump\u2019s chief of staff, at a Christmas party on Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One prominent US reporter said\u00a0Ms Manigault demanded her \u201cfull access\u201d to Mr Trump be reestablished and even \u201ccursed\u201d at Mr Kelly in front of other guests.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ms Manigault admitted having a \u201cfrank\u201d conversation with Mr Kelly but denied rowing in front of others, asking: \u201cWhere are the pictures and videos?\u201d<\/p>\n<figure>\n<noscript><\/noscript><figcaption>\nOmarosa Manigault and other Women for Trump members endorse Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump during a campaign rally at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, N.C., on Friday, Oct. 14, 2016.Credit:<br \/>\nDavid T. Foster III\/Charlotte Observer\/TNS via Getty Images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Her departure brings to an end the tenure of one of Mr Trump\u2019s most well-known advisers who boasted a 14-year friendship with the president and fans across America.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ms Manigault has been described as \u201cthe reality TV star everyone loved to hate\u201d for her back-stabbing appearances on Mr Trump\u2019s TV show The Apprentice.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She was appointed director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison after the election and appeared to have the president\u2019s ear before a restructure limited her access.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But her behaviour irked some colleagues. On her wedding day, Ms Manigault reportedly arrived at the White House in her dress with guests in tow for an unannounced photo shoot. There were also\u00a0claims of feuding with other aides.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure>\n<noscript><\/noscript><figcaption>\nOmarosa Manigault speaks during a panel discussion at the National Association of Black Journalists convention in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S. August 11, 2017Credit:<br \/>\nREUTERS\/Omar Negrin\/File Photo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Some have greeted Ms Manigault&#8217;s departure, which comes into effect on January 20, with an eye-roll\u00a0given her celebrity and the ill-defined role she had\u00a0in the White House.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Click Here: <a href='https:\/\/www.shopskm.com\/rugby-Jerseys\/NRL-Telstra-Premiership\/NORTH-QUEENSLAND-Cowboys' title='cheap Cowboys jersey'>cheap Cowboys jersey<\/a><\/p>\n<p>However the veiled criticism she gave during an interview on ABC News risks damaging Mr Trump politically given questions about his support among the African-American community.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ms Manigault said that \u201cas the only African-American woman in this White House, as a senior staff and an assistant to the president, I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally, that has affected my community and my people.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd when I can tell my story, it is a profound story that I know the world will want to hear.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure>\n<noscript><\/noscript><figcaption>\nPresident Donald Trump speaks during a meeting on African American History Month alongside Omarosa Manigault, leftCredit:<br \/>\nAP Photo\/Evan Vucci, File<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Asked specifically if she was unhappy about Mr Trump\u2019s response to white supremacist behavior in Charlottesville, Virginia, and his support for Mr Moore, the controversial Alabama senate candidate, she did not deny the claims.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause I am serving until the 20th [of January], I have to be very careful about how I answer this,\u201d she replied, adding things she saw during her time in the White House had made her \u201cvery unhappy\u201d and \u201cvery uncomfortable\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The US secret service\u00a0denied it had physically removed Ms Manigault from the White House but said her pass had been deactivated.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Secret Service was not involved in the termination process of Ms Manigault Newman or the escort off of the complex.
