{"id":9557,"date":"2020-08-25T15:44:18","date_gmt":"2020-08-25T15:44:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.incirliseviye.com\/?p=9557"},"modified":"2020-08-25T15:44:18","modified_gmt":"2020-08-25T15:44:18","slug":"buttigieg-campaign-surveyed-staffers-of-color-about-microaggressions-in-the-workplace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/onhee.com\/?p=9557","title":{"rendered":"Buttigieg campaign surveyed staffers of color about microaggressions in the workplace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete ButtigiegPete ButtigiegScaled-back Pride Month poses challenges for fundraising, outreach Biden hopes to pick VP by Aug. 1 It&#8217;s as if a Trump operative infiltrated the Democratic primary process MORE&#8217;s campaign sent a questionnaire to staffers of color earlier this month inquiring about microaggressions in the workplace.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The questionnaire, which was first reported by the New York Times on Tuesday, was sent out by the campaign&#8217;s national engagement coordinator\u00a0Raven Hollins on Jan. 1.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The survey&#8217;s first question asked the staffers whether they had experienced any of six microaggressions listed, which included being interrupted, as well as being\u00a0\u201ccalled the name of a different staff member of color,&#8221; according to the news outlet.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>Audio obtained by the Times includes several staff members speaking at a &#8220;Building Belonging&#8221; meeting the following day about what they said was the difficulty in recruiting a diverse staff.
