WWE has revealed how they’re handling the NXT Tag Team title situation.<\/p>\n

During his appearance on WWE’s The Bump this morning, NXT general manager\u00a0William Regal announced that Matt Riddle and Pete\u00a0Dunne will find a temporary partner for Riddle to team with while Dunne is currently unable to travel amid the coronavirus pandemic. Riddle and his temporary partner will defend the titles against The Undisputed Era\u00a0on NXT tonight.<\/p>\n

Roderick Strong & Bobby Fish will be the Undisputed Era team in tonight’s match.<\/p>\n

In storyline, it was said that the decision for Riddle and Dunne\u00a0to find a temporary partner was made after a long conversation between Regal, Riddle, and Dunne. When Dunne is able to come back, he’ll return to holding the titles with Riddle.<\/p>\n

Riddle & Dunne were put together as a team for this year’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They won the tournament and then defeated Undisputed Era (Fish & Kyle O’Reilly)\u00a0for the NXT Tag Team titles at TakeOver: Portland.<\/p>\n
