Video: Sasha Banks Talks Injury, Return Plans On RAW Pre-Show

As noted, Sasha Banks was being hyped by WWE on Monday afternoon for a potential appearance on the official RAW Pre-Show on the WWE Network.

Banks, who was making the media rounds in Houston, Texas on Monday morning to help promote tonight’s RAW at the Toyota Center, ended up stopping by the pre-show prior to tonight’s RAW and spoke about her injury status.

“To be honest, I suffered a back injury in that match against Charlotte,” said Banks of her SummerSlam bout against the new WWE Women’s Champion. “But I’m okay.”

When asked when she suffered the injury, Banks spoke about how low one must be to do what Charlotte did to her at SummerSlam. She referenced Charlotte needing the help of Ric Flair and Dana Brooke, her “little daddy” and “little friend,” to get things done.

Regarding her return, Banks made it clear that she intends to show Charlotte who the real “Boss” of the women’s division is.

“I mean I am more focused than ever,” said Banks. “Charlotte’s going to realize this is going to be a whole new “Boss” that comes back, and she can bank on that.”

Banks continued, “I’ve been working my butt off since day one and I’m going to show Charlotte why I’m the “Boss” of this women’s division. She can have her little daddy, she can have her little friends and she can try and injure me, but I’m coming back better than ever.”
