– While it has been announced that the brand split is in essence a competition between Shane and Stephanie McMahon over who gets the keys to the WWE kingdom, the reality of the situation is that Shane is just a TV personality with no official front office position. In fact, he has told friends that he has no idea how long he’ll even be on TV.
– With the announcement that two GMs will be announced for each brand this coming Monday, there have been rumors that Daniel Bryan will be one of the individuals, mainly after WWE ran an article that mentioned the “Yes Movement”. The headline was later changed but despite this, there is no confirmation that Bryan will be involved.
