This week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown has already aired in Australia. Here is some news coming out of the program.
— On commentary, Jim Ross confirmed that John Bradshaw Layfield has accepted Rey Mysterio’s challenge for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania XXV.
— It is revealed that the Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy bout at WrestleMania XXV will be held under Extreme Rules.
— WWE does indeed air the Hall of Fame video package on the Von Erichs on tonight’s broadcast. The package includes interviews from “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels. It also confirms Michael Hayes inducting the legendary family into the Hall.
