— TNA’s TV contract for next season is in the process of final negotiations. It’s going to be signed any day now, and at that point a two-hour show will likely be announced. The start date of the two-hour show would take place in late September of early October. UFC moves from Thursday on 9/20, giving Spike an open hour. However, the actual contract expires on 9/30 and 10/4 would be the first date under the new deal. Once they get the two-hour show, the taping schedule will be every other Monday and Tuesday, as opposed to going live or taping weekly. According to Multi-Channel News, there should be some live TNA specials.

— Those who have spoken to a number of talents within TNA are reporting that nobody is even complaining that much anymore, they’re “over it” and see the promotion much like WCW at the end.

— Several wrestlers were not flown to the Impact tapings last week. The feeling was that they weren’t booked for the show so they didn’t need to be there. On the flip side, they also didn’t get paid. Although, this issue shouldn’t be a problem anymore when Impact becomes a two-hour show.
