As you have probably heard by now, Sabu is gone from WWE and it looks as if Rob Van Dam is to follow. We’ve been reporting here for several weeks now that RVD has not agreed upon a new contract with WWE and barring a last minute miracle will be on his way out of the company after the One Night Stand pay-per-view in June. According to one backstage source, TNA’s interest could not be higher in the two ECW legends.
While Sabu is a lock to return to TNA, it is very likely that the company will also snatch up RVD and may even put them in a feud against each other right off the bat. The internal feeling within TNA is that the duo can put on a very entertaining feud capable of an immediate main event level of interest.
