The official series premiere of WWE Backstage on FS1 drew a strikingly low numbers of viewers, following two relatively strong preview shows last month.
The show was watched by just 49,000 people, according to a report from PWInsider.com. That’s down 88.5% from the test run on Oct. 5th that was watched by 426,000.
The premiere featured an introduction from none other than John Cena, breaking news on the contract renewal of Randy Orton, an exclusive episode of the Firefly Fun House with WWE Champion Bray Wyatt, as well as an all-star panel featuring Renee Young, Paige, Christian and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T.
