WWE has been forced to make some slight changes to Saturday’s WWE Starrcade live event due to the recent Braun Strowman injury.
It was revealed earlier this week that Strowman will be undergoing surgery on an elbow injury and is expected to miss around four weeks of action, which could cause a problem for the WWE TLC PPV. But one show he will certainly be missing is this Saturday’s WWE Starrcade live event.
The show, which will have a one-hour special on the WWE Network on Sunday is a dual-branded event and features some incredible matches. It was originally set to feature Braun Strowman going one on one with Baron Corbin but due to the recent injury, WWE has pulled the match.
Instead of that WWE has replaced it with a WWE WrestleMania 34 rematch as Charlotte Flair will be going one on one with Asuka and now the main event is being advertised as a steel cage match between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship.
