— NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa kicked off the show calling himself the greatest “sports entertainer” of all time, saying that he has brought “silence to the sheep”. He trashed Velveteen Dream for his constant need for attention and obsession with being different, saying that Dream got his attention but he went about it the wrong way.
— Velveteen Dream came out in some excellent black-and-white gear mocking the champ for calling himself the best ever. He said Ciampa things he’s a “bad, bad man” but the reality is, the NXT Championship deserves “a true experience, and not a guilt trip from an angry little bald man hiding behind his insecurities”. Tommaso says it’s clear that he wants the main event, but maybe he’s just not Tough Enough. OH DAMN! Dream got in the ring and said that not only is he tough enough, but he’s more man than the champion can handle.
— Nikki Cross made her way to the ring while both men were still firing verbal shots at each other, back and forth. The crowd chanted “triple threat” which was pretty hilarious, as she bounced around the ring being crazy, stalking both guys. She started chanting “I know what you did!” while staring at the Dream, who seemed freaked out and left. She did the same thing to Ciampa, and kicked the microphone away from him before the champ could speak.

KEITH LEE vs. KONA REEVES
This was surprisingly not a squash match. Lee did hit a bunch of brutal overhead chops at the start, to which the crowd chanted “ONE MORE TIME!” Kona used the ring skirt to blind Lee and rained down with dozens of angry rights and lefts, heading to the second rope for a trust fall elbow drop. Kona slowed things down for a beat working rest holds, but got a bit too full of himself and started mocking the crowd. Lee hulked up and sent his opponent flying with a shoulder tackle, then connected with a Fireman’s Carry Jackhammer he calls the Super Nova for the win.
Winner: Keith Lee
— Kassius Ohno wants a word with William Regal, who informs him that he’s no longer a suspect in the Aleister Black investigation. Ohno cuts him off and says he knows Regal doesn’t consider him a threat, and demands to know when his “shiny new toy” is going to arrive. He questions their “Bromance” and says maybe the new star isn’t the great competitor he claims to be. Regal excuses himself and Nikki Cross comes up to Ohno, teasing him that she “knows”.
