WWE star Dolph Ziggler, who made his WWE in-ring return on Smackdown this week, recently signed a new deal with the company, reports Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard.
The report notes Ziggler will be paid $1.5 million under the new, two year deal.
SI furthers Ziggler was always intending on re-signing with WWE, despite the story line which took place in December resulting in Ziggler winning, and then relinquishing the United States Title at WWE Clash of Champions.
Ziggler’s return to the ring this week also spelled out his return to the main event picture on WWE Smackdown, as Ziggler will challenge for the WWE Title along with Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin at WWE Fastlane next month.
