IRELAND INTERNATIONAL JONNY Hayes has been recognised after an excellent season at club level.
The Aberdeen winger has been a stand-out player this term — scoring eight goals and creating 22 assists in all competitions.
That has helped the Dons to second in the table behind champions Celtic, while the two clubs meet in Scottish Cup final on 27 May.
Thanks to his performances, 29-year-old Dubliner Hayes is one of four players nominated for the PFA Scotland Premiership Player of the Year.
The Hoops provide all three of the other candidates — the league’s top scorer Scott Sinclair, French striker Moussa Dembele and midfielder Stuart Armstrong.
