LIVERMORE, CA — The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Palo Alto Health Care System’s mobile medical outreach van will be making a stop in Livermore this month.
Scheduled for Thursday, July 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Civic Center Library parking lot, 1188 South Livermore Avenue, the outreach van will be staffed with medical providers who will provide examinations, consultations, and referrals to veterans enrolled in the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, a news release issued by the city of Livermore said.
“Veterans who have not enrolled or are uncertain about their eligibility for medical and/or mental health services are encouraged to visit the outreach van as the team can help and answer their questions,” the news release said, adding that veterans who are currently not enrolled in the VA system should bring an extra copy of their DD-214.
