LA Knight left Roman Reigns laying in the middle of the ring at the conclusion of last night's SmackDown.
Ahead of their Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match at Crown Jewel on November 4, Knight & Reigns were the focus of this week's SmackDown, with a heavy emphasis on establishing Knight as a credible challenger to Reigns and his 1,153-plus day title reign.
Knight interrupted Reigns' entrance at the top of the program, went toe-to-toe with the champion on the microphone in a contract signing segment, survived an attack from Jimmy Uso in the ring, defeated Uso later in the show's main event, and put an exclamation point on his night by hitting Reigns with BFT to close the show.
