Regionalization Referendum Up For Vote By Toms River School Board

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River Regional Board of Education is scheduled to vote on the wording of a referendum to be posed to the school district’s voters on a proposal to add Seaside Heights to the district.

The school board has a special meeting set for 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10 in the media center at Toms River High School North, 1245 Old Freehold Road, Toms River.

That meeting will be followed by the school board’s meetings of the committee of the whole, which begin at 6 p.m. in the media center. The committee meetings are Budget & Finance, Curriculum, and Buildings & Grounds / Building & Grounds Referendum & ESIP, and are scheduled to run until about 7:30 p.m.

The agenda for the special meeting includes the swearing-in of school board member Ashley Lamb to her new term on the board.
