SHOREWOOD, IL — The Will County State’s Attorney’s Office of Jim Glasgow has filed a felony charge of criminal damage to property against a 50-year-old man from Alsip in connection with a January incident in Shorewood at the Bedrocks craft beer and pizza bar near Jefferson Street.
According to last week’s criminal complaint, Jeffrey Bylina knowingly damaged the front glass door of Bedrocks and the Cave, and his damage to the Shorewood bar property exceeded $500 but was less than $10,000. The crime happened on Jan. 7.
Will County Judge Tom Slayzk signed off on his last week’s warrant, allowing the Shorewood police force to take Bylina into custody. Once Bylina is captured, he is to be held without release and brought before the judge for a pretrial detention hearing, the court files show.
