BUCKS COUNTY, PA —She spotted an orange orb over the sky in the Yardley area on Thanksgiving night. She’s read countless reports, joined numerous chat rooms, listened to endless podcasts, and is certainly counted among the conspiracy theorists in the Philadelphia region about what is up in the night skies.
She goes by the name Persephone Holloway in these circles (Patch knows her real identity) for safety precautions since like the “X-Files” show, she never knows who is watching or might be monitoring her social media activity.
So Patch posed the question to her on Thursday night during a lengthy conversation.

Do you think these are UFOs?

“Personally yes,” said Holloway, who is a part-time UFOligist and UAP/NHI researcher. She is also a published fiction author who has run an Unidentified Aerial Phenomena podcast. She has also been interviewed on the UFOB podcast “Somewhere in the Skies” and “Astonishing Legends” podcasts, among others, and served as a moderator of the “UFOB Experiencers.”

“I’ve seen two of these drones and am not convinced they’re drones,” she told Patch Thursday night as numerous reports circulated that drones were being spotted in the Philadelphia region. “John Kirby and the FBI straight up lied to the American people today.”
“Because they know what they are and don’t want to admit they know,” she said. “It’s either UFOs or reverse-engineered UFO craft.”
Her fascination with the topic came about as the Yardley area received national recognition for UFO sightings. Then came the orange orb report recently. And now the drones.
“I have some weird videos of orbs I’m too scared to post anywhere,” she said. “People will tell me it’s Chinese lanterns and maybe they were.”
Drones were spotted throughout the greater Philadelphia area on Thursday night, perhaps the most widespread night yet of the unexplained sightings of aerial objects in the local area.
While sightings have been going on for weeks in New Jersey, there had only been scattered and intermittent reports around Philadelphia and the five-county suburban area until Thursday night.
Among those communities reporting drone sightings were in Yardley, Levittown, Warminster, Upper Southampton Township, Abington Township, Hatboro, and Horsham Township among others.
“The second drone I saw had a light pattern that was not correct for a plane. I don’t know planes but I told a pilot friend and he said he’d never heard of that configuration. It had green lights all along the back wings too and the colors changed as it went by. Also started silent. Only made noise while passing,” she said. “My friend said the vertical takeoff wouldn’t be making propeller sounds.”
“So why are they here? Patch asks her.
“Proximity to Trenton maybe?” she answers. “The second one I saw was across the Delaware River and I went out and saw it. And it began to fly towards me like it was headed right for me. But when it hit the Delaware Canal, it veered to the right and went over my neighbor’s house. Again, silent until it was parallel with me.”

“The nights I saw the drones there was nothing on the ADSB corresponding either either of those,” she said. “So these bureaucrats trying to say it’s a case of people not knowing what planes are —they’re simply wrong.”
Holloway has a definition for the drones.
“I believe we may have a mixture of advanced military craft belonging to our own government, perhaps even reverse-engineered craft along with more prosaic ones, and actual anomalous sightings, as per the orange orbs sighted in our area just a week ago,” she said.
Holloway added that those who have encountered the “eerily silent objects also in our skies, they are left with a sense they are “odd” and something is not right.”
“They are far too large to be hobbyist drones, some quoted at SUV-sized: something that would be incredibly expensive, I’m talking something that could only be afforded by something like the military, and incredibly difficult to pull off logistically, which leads to a less likely “foreign adversary” scenario,” Holloway added. “I believe these are our craft, being run perhaps by a black budget program or a program that doesn’t wish to alarm the American people with what they know, searching for something. But what that something is, is the question.”
She said that the incidents aren’t isolated to New Jersey and that they are also occurring in the United Kingdom as well. There are also sightings in New York, Florida, North Carolina, Colorado, and both the southern coast and bay area of California.
“It’s being framed as just a Jersey “mass delusion” because it’s easier to make that go away than to examine the facts this is a much larger spread event occurring right now —and even months ago, at Langley Air Force base and five years ago in Colorado as well,” Holloway said.
