PALOS HILLS, IL — Car burglars had themselves a late Christmas during an overnight burglary spree. Seven vehicles were broken into during the overnight hours of Dec. 27, with property stolen ranging from GPS trackers and cell phones to perfume, a wallet and a child’s stuffed toy, Palos Park police said.
All but one of the motor vehicle break-ins took place in community parking lots of apartment and condominium complexes. Another car that was parked in a private driveway was stolen. It is not known if the incidents are related.
Two vehicles parked on driveways were also targeted. Officers were called to the 10000 block of 86th Court where the owner found their vehicle window broken. Clothing and a child’s stuffed toy were stolen.
