Bayern Munich have made a fourth bid of £35million for Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to reports.
Sky Sports News claims that the fresh bid meets the Blues’ valuation of the youngster, who only has 18 months left on his contract.
The reported offer of £35million (€39million) for Hudson-Odoi would fall just short of the €41.5million that Bayern paid Lyon for Corentin Tolisso, a record for a transfer to a German club.
Chelsea chief executive Marina Granovskaia has previously rejected three bids from Bayern for the youngster but Sky Sports News adds in the report that Hudson-Odoi will not take up Chelsea’s offer of a new contract as he wants the move.
Hudson-Odoi, who got both assists for Alvaro Morata’s two goals in Chelsea’s FA Cup third round victory over Nottingham Forest, is still yet to start a Premier League match for the Blues.
He featured as a first-half substitute in the Boxing Day victory over Watford, but failed to finish the match with Sarri withdrawing him for Emerson Palmieri during the closing stages.
Hudson-Odoi played a key role in England’s 2017 Under-17 World Cup victory, appearing in all nine matches and setting up three goals in the memorable 5-2 victory over Spain in the final.
