As of right now, the custody trial is set to begin on Dec. 4. It may be grounds for things to turn ugly, given how at odds the former couple is with each other over parenting. The 43-year-old actress is requesting sole custody of the children despite Pitt wanting joint custody. To make matters worse, neither signed a prenup, so a judge will also have to handle property settlement.

We can’t deny how heartbreaking it is to see the current state of Pitt and Jolie’s relationship given their former position as one of Hollywood’s biggest power couples (RIP Brangelina). From the child abuse allegations to the rumors of failed child support payments, there’s no denying that the last couple years have not been easy for the two parents.
Hopefully, for their children’s sake, they can find a way to work things out.
