The ongoing controversy over the Whatsapp data breach took a massive political turn on Sunday after the Congress party alleged that party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s phone was also snooped.
Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala on Sunday said that Priyanka was contacted by WhatsApp to inform that her phone was targeted by the Israeli spyware.
“I want to tell that Priyanka Gandhi also received a similar message from WhatsApp around the same time,” Surjewala said. Read More

RBI May Have Stopped Printing Rs 2000 Notes, But Fake Ones Worth Crores Are Circulating In Market
It had recently been revealed that the Reserve Bank of India has stopped printing Rs 2,000 currency notes. Accordingly, the Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran has not printed a single Rs 2,000 note this financial year while 3,542.991 million notes of Rs 2,000 were printed during the 2016-’17 financial year.
Experts say that the move to print fewer Rs 2,000 notes is seen as an attempt to prevent hoarding of the high-value currency and curb black money. Read More
