The virtual store of international fashion company Mango, continues to see its sales grow and ended the year with an increase of 35% over the previous year. With a presence in Europe, the US and Canada, the website recorded an average of 1 million visits per month.
An increasing number of people visit the online store to do their shopping, generating a turnover of 8 million Euros for the Spanish company. The 713,000 registered users, 26% more than last year, have found their way to purchase items from the MANGO collection. 11,000 orders are now placed every month. One of the reasons for such a high number of visitors and orders is its vast geographical coverage, since it distributes in 32 European countries, as well as in the United States and Canada. The free delivery fee above a minimum order quantity and easy return policy in Mango stores contributed to the growth of Mango online. Delivery is usually between 2 and 3 working days.
The HE Homini Emerito collection has also recorded an increase in online sales since it was launched in March 2008. The new projects for this year include enlarging the section of this collection, in order to adapt it to the men’s market. Another development will take place in the Outlet section, whose sales accounted for 35% of the total sales, which will be presented in a more functional and user-friendly way. However, the major new development this year is mangoshop.com in China.
Mango, which has 1223 stores and is present in 90 countries, is the second largest export company of women’s fashion in Spain. Its concept is based on an alliance between a quality product, in accordance with the latest fashion trends, and an affordable price.
