116-YO Kane Tanaka From Japan Honoured By Guinness Records As World’s Oldest Living Person

As life expectancy rate continues to deteriorate due to modern lifestyle and a stark neglect for healthcare, Japan continues to hold the number 1 title when it comes to oldest living human beings.

The average life expectancy among both the sexes in the country stands around 83 years. While doctors and health experts continue to put emphasis on exercising and a healthy diet, the present generation seems to lagging behind than their ancestors.

Guinness World Records has just confirmed Kane Tanaka from Japan as the oldest person living at 116-years of age. As on March 9, 2019 Tanaka is exactly 116 years and 66 days old.
