NextMind — a neurotechnology startup has unveiled a non-invasive neural-interface wearable that allows you to control digital elements in the surrounding using just your thoughts.
The device sits at the back of your head and captures electrical brain signals from the user’s visual cortex (a part of the brain). It then takes the help of machine learning algorithms to translate this into commands that are sent to a computing device — in real-time without touching or saying even a single word.
The application is truly non-invasive, meaning that no surgery or installation of implants is necessary to make this technology work.
