Bernie Ecclestone and wife Fabiana are looking to a joyous pampering summer ahead with the couple expecting its first child this summer.
The news – reported by veteran F1 reporter and close Ecclestone friend Roger Benoit – fortunately did not come yesterday, on April Fool’s day, or many would have perhaps doubted the story.
The 89-year-old former F1 supremo, who is currently in isolation with his wife in the couple’s farm north of Sao Paulo, said he was delighted with the future happy event.

“After my time in Formula 1, we’ve had enough time to practice,” joked Ecclestone, who already has three daughters from two previous marriages.
“It’s so far due in the summer. Hopefully, he’ll soon learn to play backgammon!”
