An appearance by Hulk Hogan has been added to tonight’s episode of SmackDown.
WWE has announced that Hogan will “discuss his upcoming induction into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the nWo” on SmackDown tonight. The appearance also comes in advance of WWE returning to Saudi Arabia for Super ShowDown on Thursday, February 27.
It was announced in December that the nWo (Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash & Sean “X-Pac” Waltman) will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on Thursday, April 2. It will be the second time all four wrestlers have been inducted. Hogan, Hall, and Nash have been inducted on their own, and Waltman went into the Hall of Fame as part of DX last year.
Batista has also been announced for this year’s Hall of Fame class.
Hogan and Flair both managed teams at WWE’s Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia in October. Team Hogan (Roman Reigns, Rusev, Ricochet, Mustafa Ali & Shorty G) defeated Team Flair (Randy Orton, Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, Shinsuke Nakamura & Drew McIntyre) in the match.
Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada is hosting tonight’s SmackDown. Bayley will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Carmella on the show, The Miz & John Morrison will face Roman Reigns and a partner in a tag match, and Mandy Rose and Otis will go on their Valentine’s Day date.
