WWE has just announced that Mickie James will challenge Asuka at NXT Takeover: Toronto on Nov. 19. The 37 year old respected veteran last wrestled for WWE in 2010. She has since wrestled in TNA and become a mother.
Keller’s Analysis: NXT continues to find ways to make news that improves the image of the brand. James is a highly respected veteran wrestler with promo ability and wide range when it comes to her promos and character. Whether it’s a one-off match or a sign of her getting back into regular action, either way it’s a cool match-up that adds some prestige and a special attraction match to Takeover.
