Raw broke from its usual format for last night’s Elimination Chamber go-home show.
The first two hours were almost entirely taken up by a seven-person gauntlet match that featured all of the participants that will be in the men’s Elimination Chamber. Seth Rollins wrestled for over an hour, pinning Roman Reigns and John Cena in what was designed to be a star-making performance.
Rollins was eventually eliminated by Elias, who was then defeated by Finn Balor. It came down to Braun Strowman and The Miz, with Strowman standing tall heading into the pay-per-view.
All of the wrestlers who will be in the women’s Elimination Chamber match also faced off in a six-woman tag, Nia Jax attacked Asuka from behind during an interview, and a video package hyped up Ronda Rousey ahead of Sunday’s contract signing.
