MOORHEAD, Minn. — Minnesota State University Moorhead junior Blake Bosch has been named the Super Region 3 Wrestling of the Week by D2wrestle.com, it was announced on Tuesday.
Bosch, who was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Wrestler of the Week on Monday, had a big week for the Dragon wrestling program, going 5-0. Two of the wins were over Long Island University Post’s Joe Calderone, who is ranked No. 3 in the nation, including a 5-4 win in the Dragons’ 23-12 victory over LIU Post on Dec. 4.

The Wishek, N.D., native then went 4-0 at the Dragon Open on Saturday to win the title at 133 pounds (Red Division). Three of the wins were recorded by technical fall while the other was an 8-2 victory over Calderone.
Bosch is 15-5 on the season and ranked No. 2 in the nation.
