Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton announced for WWE WrestleMania 33

The WWE Championship match for WrestleMania is — finally — officially set.

Randy Orton defeated AJ Styles on SmackDown to get his title match with Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania. That match became apparent after Orton won the Royal Rumble and Wyatt won the championship at Elimination Chamber, but there was a storyline over the last few weeks of WWE trying to find a new challenger until Orton turned his back on Wyatt.

WWE shot an angle after SmackDown went off the air, with Styles continuing his feud with Shane McMahon by confronting him and blaming him for not getting the title shot.

Other matches for WrestleMania 33 were set up on SmackDown as well. It was announced that Alexa Bliss would defend her title against every available woman on the show’s roster, though no further details were revealed.

Mojo Rawley and Apollo Crews were also confirmed as the first two entrants in this year’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on Tuesday night.
